The task group for developing the i3 Roadmap was established at the November 1997 i3net CG meeting in Brussels. Its members were Patrick Purcell, Imperial College London, the UK, Javier Segovia, Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain, and Niels Ole Bernsen, Odense University, Denmark. At the February 1998 i3net CG meeting in Milan, the Task Group was augmented with Marco Susani, Domus Academy, Milano, Italy, and representatives from Esprit LTR.
