With this workshop we aim to collect long-ranging visions (together with their sustaining arguments) on the human factors in enlarging personal expression and communication capabilities that go beyond the screen-and-keyboard, e.g., body language, clothing, smell, aural. We also want to go beyond the shallow symbolic level of language-based communication to include expression of emotion, attitude, expectation, status, identity and so forth.
